The massive flooding that swept the Philippine capital of Manila and nearby provinces has reached 770 dead, displaced around 145,000 people and many still waiting to be rescued from flood-hit areas.

‘Super typhoon’ still may be possible therefore thousands of people in the Philippines have been evacuated from their communities ahead of a possible “super typhoon” that is expected to curb relief efforts after a deadly storm earlier in the week.
